An upcoming architect, PHIL, takes on a partnership with an old classmate, ELAINE. His stark, yet successful approach to design is infused by her earthy and visionary approach. The two collaborate to create "Metro". Landing the opportunity to design a stadium, the two go up against the rivaling Dynamic Design. Under a deadline, they are forced use a computer system made for one.

Phil contends with the program all night, and when Elaine returns the next day, she discovers their creative masterpiece has been reduced to an unlivable box. Together, the partners scrap the project, and go with the original concept, bringing the better, still developing project to their clients.
